I’ve met this Dr quite sometime ago so when I went in for my implant I was hoping he would be more personable he maybe pulled a tooth that took a few minutes prior to that years back my implant was done about 2 yrs ago he was the same very cold direct and to the point but i figured all I care was that he do a good job my implant was fine thank God but when I paid my bill the office told me my portion so I paid what was asked of me then left fast forward to today I get a bill from them saying I now owe another 500.00 this is years later mind you they tell me this so I look into it and still to this day I guess I’m just appalled that they come back years later and ask for this money this was their mistake if so be it I still don’t understand fully why I should have to pay when my particular case was done and over so with the exception of the office mistakes and the Dr’s lack of plain common decency for his patients lack of empathy understanding most of all respect I will unless I’m desperate not go back to this office again I know for a fact their are much kinder caring friendlier oral surgeons out their my son went to one in Sycamore Illinois Dr Miller great man

A Big Thanks and appreciation to Dr Balcerak and his oral surgery team. He took my fears and angst and made my experience a not so scary one. I highly recommend Dr. Balcerak and his team. Thank you again !!! 💓

Rude......no compassion at all.....caused an extreme amount of additional PAIN that didn't phase him in the least! HORRIBLE experience! Regret not seeking treatment from a different oral surgeon's office! Beware!!!

Writing this now, as it has been exactly one year since my surgery with Dr. Balcerak. He extracted all four of my wisdom teeth, during the procedure he damaged a large nerve which he didn't bother to mention until I came in for my follow up appointment. My whole bottom lip and chin were completely numb, I could barely eat, and I had to take extra days off of work because I couldn't speak properly. He casually mentioned "Oh yea when we took out your wisdom teeth we could see a large nerve" thanks for letting me know... He did a test where he poked around my chin and lip to see where the numbness was and said he would re-evaluate at my next appointment. Fast forward to that, I sat in the examining room for an hour waiting for him to see me, no one acknowledged me or apologized for the wait until I left the room and asked a hygienist. 10 minutes later he comes in so nonchalant with a quick "sorry I was busy with another patient" laughing about it "apology", first slap in the face. Second was when he asked me if I was still experiencing numbness, I said yes, he said okay come back in two weeks and then he left. No poke test to see progress, nothing. Dr Balcerak was very gental and fast. His speed was not rushing, rather skill and experience. I have used him on two or three occasions. All times with very little discomfort.
